Statement of Security, Authorization and Privacy System Requirements
We understand that security is very important to you. We have taken the following steps in both the security of data that is transmitted across the internet and also the personal information that is stored in our databases.
We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to securely transfer your information across the internet to us. This technology encrypts the information you provide so it's nearly impossible for anyone other than Heartland Community Church to read it. This technology is used whenever confidential information, such as your bank account number, is transmitted.
We use the highest industry standard for online security, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, to secure your online sessions. This process safeguards your session from intruders.
The Web application also encrypts sensitive data to conceal your personal identity.
Access to your profile first requires that you authenticate through our secure Login Profile system. This is accomplished by entering your unique login and password. You have the ability to change your login and password through your profile.
Please help us keep your information safe by protecting your login information. Access to sensitive personal and financial information can be gained by letting someone else use your account or by leaving the information for someone else to see. Heartland Community Church will never call you and ask you for your login information. Consider the following when asked for personal information:
Two things you should know concerning Identity Theft: Phishing is a high-tech scam that uses spam or pop-up messages to deceive you into disclosing your bank account information, passwords, or other sensitive information. Spoofing is pretending to be something it is not, whether an email, website, etc
We use Fellowship Technologies LP to process online giving payments. Fellowship Technologies LP uses the state-of-the-art firewall protection which places safeguards between internet and local data storage. To view Fellowship's privacy policy, please click on this link: http://fellowshiptech.com/pages/page.asp?page_id=61549
Fellowship Technologies LP provides an Automatic Log Out process as a safety precaution. The site will end your session after several minutes of inactivity and your secured session will be terminated for you.

Jesus Christ is the head of Heartland Community Church, and as a community, our desire is to honor and reflect Jesus Christ in all we do and how we do it.
There are four groups of people who lead the ministries of Heartland: the Elders, the Board of Directors, the Directional Leadership Team, and the staff. The goal of each of these groups of leaders is to help you discover what you were made for by providing the tools you need to unlock God's plan for your life.
A significant thing that makes Heartland different is that one person does not hold the traditional role of the senior pastor. Instead, several individuals use their individual gifts and strengths to lead the church.
Mark Bankord is Heartland's Directional Leader and co-founder. Mark is a visionary leader and provides directional leadership to the Heartland staff and the church body. Mark leads the Directional Leadership Team, chairs the Board of Directors and meets with the elders.
Doug Thiesen is Heartland's Lead Pastor. He partnered with Mark and Sherri Bankord to start Heartland and for the first ten years served as Heartland's Music Director and Worship Leader. He is an ordained minister. Today, Doug serves in areas of spiritual direction throughout Heartland. He is part of the Directional Leadership Team and also meets with and gives input to the Board of Directors and Elders as needed.
Mike Breaux is Heartland's weekend Teaching Pastor. His primary role is to provide transformational teaching every weekend. Mike leads a team of other gifted teachers that teach periodically on the weekend or in other ministries of Heartland. Mike is part of the Directional Leadership Team.
